The Mariandlalm is situated at an altitude of 1,250 meters on the border between Bayrischzell and Thiersee. It is particularly known for its cheese dumplings (Kaspressknödel), dumpling soup (Knödelsuppe), various daily specials, and the famous Kaiserschmarrn. For generations, it has been prepared according to an ancient, handed-down recipe. Whether as a destination or a pit stop on the way to Trainsjoch, the alpine pasture is a worthwhile excursion spot throughout the entire year.
