Description

On the Buchberg near Ebbs, the yellow facades of the Gothic church shine against the lush green meadows and the radiant blue sky. The view from up here captivates the observer as much as the artful interior of the church. Impressive carvings, historical paintings, an imposing altar with five holy figures, and intricately crafted choir stalls, church pews, vaults, and pulpit made of spruce wood come together to create an impressive overall picture. The church is named after its patron, the Traveler, and was once built with the purpose of bestowing strength upon travelers.
