This hike starts at the Griesner Alm parking lot in Kaiserbachtal. Follow the path to Hintere Ranggenalm. The views of the mighty northern walls of the Wilder Kaiser are spectacular on this hike. Peaks like Fleischbank, Predigtstuhl or Totenkirchl are names well known in the mountaineering and climbing community, since climbing history has been written on their walls and faces. The tour continues a little longer to Vordere Ranggenalm, which is set amid spectacular nature with a beautiful flora that thrives in the poor soil that is common here. From Vordere Ranggenalm follow a narrow path down to Fischbachalm and continue along Kaiserbach brook back to Griesner Alm.
