After the last group of houses on the “Lärchenwiese” take the forest path into the “Weißenbachtal” valley. After a short walk cross the dry “Weißenbach” stream bed. Follow the gently rising forest path until you reach the “Weißenbachhütte” mountain hut and finally the “Weißenbachalm” mountain hut. From there continue to the “Weißenbachsattel” and descend through the forest to the “Bärenbadalm” mountain hut (signposted). From there a flat trail leads through mountain pines, followed by a steeper trail. The trail gets flat and you reach the “Bärenkopf” summit. As a return route you can descend via the “Bärenbadalm” mountain hut or through the “Weißenbachtal” valley. Follow the route you took on the ascent back to the valley.
