This hike starts at the parking lot of the Kirchdorf ski lifts. A beautiful trail winds its way through meadows and forests to the hamlet of Haberberg. When you get to the narrow asphalt road, keep to the right. At the junction, make a left to get to the hiking trail. After a short stretch parallel to the road, the trail splits at a small parking lot. Make a left towards the Hacher farmhouses. Follow a narrow forest trail up to Obingalm and continue along a beautiful hiking trail to the Kalkstein plateau, which offers sweeping views of the valley, St. Johann, Oberndorf and Kirchdorf. Continue along a forest road direction to Angerlalm. At a small pond, make a left to Huberalm where you continue via Jägeralm down to the center of Erpfendorf. In the vicinity of Jägeralm there are panels providing interesting information on bees. This Bee Trail was built in 2019.
