From Kitzbühel town centre, ride west towards the Schwarzsee lake. Turn right at the railway station towards the Steuerberg inn. A gravel track in the forest leads steeply downhill towards Oberndorf and Schmiedboden. Take the second right. After the Hasenberger Weiher pond, turn right at the gate and, 50 m later, turn left onto the tarmac road. Follow it downhill until you reach the Pass Thurn main road. Turn left onto it and after 100 m take another left towards Oberndorf. When you arrive in the centre opposite the Raiffeisen bank, turn left and ride through Holztratt up to Grutten. Just before you reach the farm at the highest point of your ride, turn left towards Reith. In the forest, take a sharp left towards Rettenberg, onto a gravel track leading up the mountain. Bear right and you will pass an old farmhouse on a slightly tricky forest track to Hörpfing. Once past the farmhouse, go downhill towards Reith and Münichau. Take the local road towards the Schwarzsee lake and back to where you started from.
