On the "Kammweg Erzgebirge-Vogtland", one of the most beautiful long-distance hiking trails in Germany, you can simply enjoy the peace and nature!
Wildlife, flowering mountain meadows, shady forests and refreshing stream valleys make up the charm of the 285 km long quality trail, which leads from Altenberg-Geising across the Vogtland to Blankenstein in Thuringia. It connects countries and regions with German-German history. Its rather demanding route over the highest peaks of the Erzgebirge and Vogtland makes your sweat bead on occasion, but rewards you with panoramic views of a surprisingly beautiful mountain landscape. There is much to discover along the way.
As an alternative to the Kammweg, we have created 11 circular routes that allow you to hike parts of the Kammweg, but bring you back to your starting point on the same day.
