Welcome to the Black Forest, a paradise for hikers and, of course, cyclists!
The Black Forest is one of the most attractive cycling regions in Germany. Where mountains rise, valleys follow, making "Germany's most beautiful gourmet corner" a delight to explore by bike. Even young riders will have fun here. From Karlsruhe and Pforzheim in the north to the High Rhine in the south, and from the Upper Rhine in the west to the valleys of Nagold and Neckar in the east, cycling paths crisscross the valleys and traverse the heights of the region.
It's often not the climbs that compel you to dismount, but rather the tempting inns and scenic viewpoints. There are around 320 towns and villages with countless attractions waiting to be discovered. You can ride through sunny vineyard slopes, shady forests, or between fields of flowers and orchards.
By successfully cycling two long-distance bike trails in the Black Forest, you will receive the bronze cycling badge for free. Every cyclist will also receive a personalized certificate and a small gift as recognition for their achievement.

Once you have earned the cycling badge, feel free to send the certificate along with your postal address to outdoor@schwarzwald-tourismus.info, and you will receive your small reward in the mail.
