On no other hike in the Schladminger Tauern can you experience the exclusive magic of this water-rich primeval landscape more intensively than here. No less than three mountain lakes lie on different floors along the path of this tour. The Obersee is the conclusion of the magnificent 3-lake hike starting from the natural jewel Styrian Bodensee in the Seewigtal. After the ascent to the Hüttensee, where the Hans-Wödl-Hütte invites you to rest and linger, you hike on a narrow path through bushes and over a grassy terrain step up to the next and third lake, the Obersee. The water of the Schleierwasserfall (veil waterfall) pours down from the upper right. Only a few steps and you have reached the shore of the dreamy Obersee.
