Ramolhaus

The Ramolhaus, located at 3,005 meters, was built in 1881 by the mountain guide Martinus Scheiber at Köpfle, beneath the Spiegelkogel. It offers a beautiful view from the sun terrace over the valley's head with its glaciers. The Gurgler Ferner glacier is so close you can almost touch it.

From Obergurgl, follow the path over the Piccard Bridge on a circular hike, passing the Küppelealm, and heading towards the Ramolhaus, which can already be seen perched on the rock from afar (approx. 4 hours). A detailed route description can be found on the (left) website.
