Nach dem Motto: „Von Nord nach Süd mit bester Aussicht“ führt der Panorama-Radweg über die schönsten Höhen auf der Ostseite des Mittelgebirges. Die Panoramen wollen aber erradelt werden. Die erste Etappe lässt noch nicht so viele Fernsichten zu. Aber mit jedem weiteren Kilometer Richtung Süden macht der Weg seinem Namen alle Ehre. Von Pforzheim im Norden bis Waldshut-Tiengen im Süden fahren Tourenradler auf befestigten Radwegen etwa 280 Kilometer durch Täler und über aussichtsreiche Hochflächen. Eingebunden sind Teilstrecken des Enztal-Radweges, der Höhenradwege West und Mitte, des Kinzigtal-Radweges und des Südschwarzwald-Radweges. Auf der gesamten Strecke sind ca. 2.400 Höhenmeter Gesamtanstieg zu bewältigen. Mit Elektrounterstützung ist das
einfach zu fahren, mit reinem Muskelantrieb ist der Anspruch „leicht bis mittel“. Den größten Höhenunterschied gilt es zwischen Enzklösterle Seewald-Besenfeld zu meistern. Danach verläuft die
Route weitgehend auf der Hochfläche zwischen Schwarzdwaldgipfeln und Schwäbischer Alb, bis sie ab Titisee endgültig nur noch bergab zum Rheintal führt.
Wer will, kann ab Waldshut-Tiengen mit der Bahn zurück nach Pforzheim fahren oder auf dem Südschwarzwald-Radweg nach Basel und Richtung Norden weiter radeln.
