The view from the Ringwarte offers the most beautiful outlook over the East Styrian Hill Country!
The Ringwarte is a 30-meter-high observation tower. 99 steps lead to the top of the tower, from which you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the East Styrian Hill Country.
The Ringwarte was built back in 1906 by the then-mayor Raimund Obendrauf. In 2006, the entire complex around the observation tower was renovated and supplemented with a new shelter as part of the 100-year celebration.
The archaeological trail on the Ringkogel takes visitors along the former ring wall to six stations that provide information and images about the settlement history and the construction of this significant Celtic settlement.
At the resting place of the Ringwarte, the hut hostess Ulli Schantl takes care of food and drink. Contact for groups and pre-registrations: +43 664 1520633
Children and families can look forward to a play tower combination with a suspension bridge and an 11-meter-long hillside slide.
Tip: The Peter Rosegger circular trail, newly opened in 2021, leads up to the watchtower via the Brühl.
