Großarltal
The Grossarltal with its hiking village Grossarl and the Bergsteigerdorf® Hüttschlag offers countless unique hiking opportunities. From leisurely walks to summit tours with great views. The valley is known for its large number of managed mountain huts and is therefore also called the valley of the mountain huts. The valley end of Hüttschlag has been part of the Hohe Tauern National Park, the largest national park in the Alps, since 1991 and is therefore a guarantee for pure, unspoilt nature experiences.
Wheter you take a leisurely hike to the many mountain huts, refresh yourself at the crystal-clear mountain lakes or climb the highest peaks of the valley. We believe that your efforts should be rewarded. So if you hike a certain number of destinations, you collect valuable points and can earn the hiking pin at different levels of achievement. The hiking pins should not only be reward for your achievements, but also an incentive to discover the whole variety of our beautiful alpine and mountain world.
